Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

As a Credit Risk Analyst at Philips, you will protect and enable the business by evaluating the financial health of B2B customers, establishing appropriate credit limits, monitoring exposures, and supporting informed credit decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial statements, credit reports, payment history and other risk indicators to assess creditworthiness and set credit limits.
• Manage and monitor customer credit exposure, applying tools such as credit insurance, letters of credit, guarantees and other financial instruments.
• Execute credit risk and accounting processes, including period‑end closing, reconciliations, internal controls and compliance reviews.
• Review account balances and customer portfolios, identify potential risks or discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Support the release of blocked orders by collaborating with Sales, Finance, Customer Service and other stakeholders while adhering to credit policies.
• Prepare credit analyses, reports, dashboards and presentations for management and credit risk committees.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, accounts receivable or related finance functions.
• Solid experience performing B2B credit risk assessments and making credit recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and data analysis tools.
• Strong communicator, proactive problem‑solver and able to coordinate competing priorities.
