About the role

We are looking for a Public Procurement Quoter specialized in the technology sector. The role involves analysing government tender opportunities, preparing competitive quotations, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to build economically sound proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse public procurement opportunities published on PanamaCompra and similar platforms.
• Review technical specifications, price tables and participation requirements.
• Prepare quotations, comparative cost tables and pricing structures for public tenders.
• Negotiate prices with manufacturers, distributors and suppliers both locally and internationally.
• Identify technology products and solutions that meet tender specifications.
• Validate SKUs, licensing, support, warranties and professional services.
• Calculate costs, margins, taxes, logistics and other components to determine final offer prices.
• Coordinate with Sales, Pre‑sales, Engineering, Projects and Administration teams.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database with prices, discounts and commercial terms.
• Support the preparation of proposals for tenders, minor purchases, framework agreements and other public procurement procedures.

Required profile

• Experience with public procurement processes in Panama, including use of the PanamaCompra platform.
• Proven ability to prepare and analyse quotations for government tenders.
• Strong understanding of tender procedures, cost analysis and commercial concepts such as ITBMS, margins and discounts.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for building comparative tables and cost models.
• Capability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into clear quotation requests.
