Compliance Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Compliance Assistant to join our team in Panama City. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the strategic operations of the compliance department, providing legal insights, reviewing critical documentation, and promoting a culture of integrity through training and incident management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert insights on compliance management and local regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and refine compliance clauses within legal contracts and agreements.
• Lead compliance workshops and training sessions for employees at all levels.
• Manage and document compliance‑related incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to drive compliance goals.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Law.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in legal work or corporate compliance.
• Professional fluency in English; Mandarin knowledge is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and relevant legislation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Extremely organized, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
