Commodities Support Specialist

About the role

As a Commodities Support Specialist in Nestlé Global Procurement you will connect physical supply needs with price risk management activities on a worldwide scale. You will work closely with price risk teams, suppliers, strategic buyers and market stakeholders to ensure reliable, responsibly sourced supply across multiple commodity categories.

Key responsibilities

• Implement futures distribution to align with physical requirements and strengthen hedge effectiveness.
• Allocate volumes and suppliers to markets to secure reliable supply from global parent contracts.
• Prepare price fixations with suppliers to support accurate and transparent commodity management.
• Link hedge results to physical supply contracts to improve visibility and decision‑making.
• Proactively manage the contract lifecycle to enable smooth execution across markets, suppliers and buyers.
• Coordinate shipment follow‑up to maintain continuity of supply and reduce operational risk.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of procurement, finance, supply chain or commodity contract management.
• Analytical thinking to connect financial instruments, physical supply needs and business requirements.
• Attention to detail and initiative to anticipate risks and solve issues.
• Ability to collaborate confidently in a global, fast‑moving and complex environment.
• Fluent English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated courage, collaboration, speed and a commitment to continuous learning.
