Commercial Portfolio Head

About the role

The Commercial Portfolio Head leads the commercial portfolio to maximize value, strengthen operational performance and support sustainable growth across Novartis' portfolio in Panama.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial portfolio planning and performance, managing budgets and forecasts to support portfolio ambitions and business goals.
• Partner with Regulatory, Supply Chain, Legal, Value & Access, Finance and other functions to address risk, demand, loss‑of‑exclusivity strategies and cross‑functional coordination.
• Identify, evaluate and advance commercial partnership and alliance opportunities to increase portfolio and asset value.
• Drive digital marketing execution to strengthen brand visibility, reach and engagement while ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree with substantial senior commercial experience, including direct leadership of large teams.
• Proven P&L management experience delivering top‑ and bottom‑line targets in competitive environments.
• Advanced strategic thinking, analytical and data‑interpretation capabilities with strong financial acumen.
• Fluent in English and demonstrated leadership in complex, changing environments.
