Commercial Manager – Fintech & Financial Infrastructure

About the role

Unblock is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead B2B business development for its financial infrastructure solutions. The role focuses on building strategic relationships with fintech founders, CEOs, CFOs and other senior executives, translating complex financial and technological needs into commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the B2B commercial strategy, targeting new markets and segments.
• Identify, prospect, and manage a pipeline of strategic fintech clients.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from discovery to contract negotiation and close.
• Prepare commercial proposals, pricing structures and negotiate terms.
• Develop partnerships with banks, PSPs and technology providers.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, Product and Operations teams.
• Analyse market trends, identify cross‑selling/up‑selling opportunities and present forecasts to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fintech, payments, banking, financial services or related technology.
• Strong network within the fintech ecosystem and ability to engage C‑level executives.
• Deep understanding of business models, money flows, regulatory requirements (KYC/KYB, AML) and payment operations.
• Strategic, consultative mindset with a track record of generating new business.
