About the role

We Fresh Market & Café is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead its three locations in Panama City. This full‑time, onsite position will drive financial health, operational excellence, and strategic growth for the fresh‑food market and café business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the market and café, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain the financial health of the business through budgeting, financial reporting, and data‑driven decision making.
• Lead and develop the managerial team, aligning all functions with the company’s vision and values.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to sustain product quality and cost control.
• Represent the company with suppliers, partners, and the community, promoting brand reputation.
• Drive sales growth and revenue targets by implementing effective commercial strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in restaurant or food‑service operations management, including inventory and budget control.
• Strong track record in sales growth and revenue generation.
• Advanced strategic planning abilities, risk management, and market adaptability.
• Leadership experience at senior level (e.g., General Manager, Operations Manager) in retail or food industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management or related field; MBA preferred.
• Full‑time onsite availability in Panama City.
