About the role
The position involves operating the cash register, greeting customers, and ensuring accurate cash handling in a fast‑paced retail environment. The successful candidate will be the front‑line representative of the store, maintaining a professional appearance and a clean work area.
Key responsibilities
- Arrive on time and maintain a proper professional image.
- Greet customers as they enter and leave the premises.
- Count and reconcile the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
- Process payments using cash, credit cards, ACH transfers, and checks.
- Perform cash register closures and prepare cash deposits.
- Package cash for Brinks transport and coordinate its safe delivery.
- Keep the checkout area organized and clean.
Required profile
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Strong customer‑service orientation.
- Attention to detail in cash handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
