Business Unit Manager - Specialty Care

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Business Unit Manager to lead the Specialty Care portfolio in Panama. The role combines strategic planning, commercial execution, and cross‑functional leadership to drive growth and market impact for innovative healthcare solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and demand‑generation strategies aligned with the 2026 business plan.
• Lead annual brand planning, tactical execution, and budget management to increase sales and market share.
• Identify market opportunities, customer insights, and competitive trends to inform portfolio decisions.
• Oversee launch readiness and commercialization of new products, indications, and strategic initiatives.
• Manage LAT’s team execution and coordinate cross‑functional activities including access and medical affairs.
• Build and lead a team of Product Manager, Sales Manager, and Sales Representatives.
• Validate sales quota and incentive plans each quarter in partnership with SFE.
• Plan and manage the Marketing and Sales P&L, ensuring cost control and optimal investment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience leading commercial and marketing teams in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong track record of delivering business growth and managing P&L responsibilities.
• Ability to analyze market data, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
