AWS Glue Data Engineer (Python) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an AWS Glue Data Engineer with strong Python expertise to design and operate cloud‑based data integration pipelines. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering reliable, scalable ETL solutions for analytics workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and automated ingestion frameworks using AWS Glue.
• Develop and optimise serverless ETL processes and data‑transformation workflows in Python.
• Implement robust data modelling, cleaning, and preprocessing standards across the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business intelligence needs.
• Monitor pipeline execution, troubleshoot errors, and continuously improve performance and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building and optimising data pipelines with AWS Glue.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for ETL scripting and data processing.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud data architectures and data‑warehousing tools.
• Advanced English communication skills.
