About the role

The Panamanian Red Cross is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Assistant for its Central Office in Albrook. The role supports the strengthening of volunteer management by contributing to the new Volunteer Strategy, designing a National Training Plan, and digitizing the national volunteer database.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing the Volunteer Strategy aligned with the new Volunteer Policy.
• Help design and coordinate a National Training Plan for volunteers.
• Support the digitization and maintenance of the national volunteer database.
• Create visual communication materials such as presentations and infographics for local committees.
• Prepare technical and institutional documents as needed.

Required profile

• Completed or ongoing degree in Social Work, Psychology, Administration, or Data Science.
• Experience in volunteer management, community activities, or educational program development.
• Strong commitment to Red Cross values, including PGI and SMAPS principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to collect, organize, and manage large volumes of data.
