About the role

We are seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join our school community and inspire students through creative expression. The successful candidate will design engaging lessons, foster a supportive classroom environment, and contribute to the overall development of our visual arts program.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, using diverse instructional strategies.
• Integrate technology and innovative methods to enhance student learning.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Develop, administer, and analyze assessments to monitor student progress.
• Encourage student participation, collaboration, and motivation.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with educational best practices.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Contribute to curriculum development and adapt instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and serve as a mentor.
• Provide academic, social, and emotional support, collaborating with support services as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Certification in Fine Art or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver effective art instruction.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student well‑being and inclusive teaching practices.
