Analista Actuarial

About the role

Join EY’s growing global team as an Actuarial Analyst, supporting a wide range of insurance clients across Central America, the Dominican Republic and Panama. You will act as a key contact point, helping multidisciplinary teams deliver technical actuarial solutions while developing your professional leadership and business insight.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and analyze technical and mathematical reserves for life and non‑life insurance products.
• Interpret technical notes, actuarial bases and accounting standards.
• Perform actuarial projections, sensitivity analyses and model validation.
• Prepare clear reports, memoranda and professional presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance and meet client requirements.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Actuarial Science.
• 1–2 years of experience in the insurance sector, with hands‑on work in reserve calculations and regulatory reporting.
• Native Spanish speaker and intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical thinking, effective communication and a proactive, adaptable mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in R for statistical and actuarial modeling.
