About the role

Join First Quantum’s Panama operation as an HR Administrator. You will provide administrative and operational support to the on‑site Human Resources function, ensuring efficient handling of documentation, records and employee services in a high‑performance mining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organize HR documentation, employee files and operational records on site.
• Coordinate HR activities such as onboarding, training logistics and employee inquiries.
• Generate and distribute reports, manage databases and monitor HR indicators.
• Support payroll, benefits administration and compliance with internal policies.
• Assist with scheduling and communication for a 10‑day work / 4‑day rest roster.

Required profile

• Technical, technologist or university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Accounting or related fields.
• Previous experience in administrative support, document coordination or operational assistance.
• Experience in high‑demand, industrial or mining environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site under a 10‑day work / 4‑day rest schedule and stay in site accommodation.
• Strong communication, organization and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Expert use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to create reports, manage databases and handle documentation efficiently.
