Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist

About the role

Blue Polaris is seeking an experienced AR/AP Specialist to own the full accounts receivable and payable cycle. You will act as the financial operational backbone, ensuring data integrity and providing real‑time visibility across projects and clients in a fast‑moving, multi‑system environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end AR/AP processes, from invoice generation to payment collection and reconciliation.
• Process invoices across multiple billing platforms with precision.
• Extract, consolidate, and reconcile historical financial data to create a trusted master record.
• Build and maintain dashboards and Excel‑based reporting tools from scratch.
• Track expected versus actual invoices for active contracts and prevent gaps.
• Collaborate with executives, sales, and operations to gather billing information and resolve outstanding receivables.
• Maintain organized records and ensure continuous data accuracy.
• Identify process gaps and implement workflow improvements.
• Support audits and compliance through clear documentation.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of hands‑on AR/AP experience in a complex, multi‑system environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, capable of building dashboards and tracking tools from scratch.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks; experience with additional ERP or billing platforms is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to extract, clean, and reconcile data from disparate sources.
• Excellent organizational abilities and strong communication skills.
• High level of English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Self‑starter who can operate independently and bring order to complexity.
