Account Analyst – Hotel Santa María Luxury Collection

About the role

The Account Analyst will ensure accurate daily financial reconciliation, recording and control of the hotel’s operations. Working closely with the Finance department, the analyst supports decision‑making by maintaining data integrity across PMS (Opera), POS (Micros) and banking systems.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily sales cash reports between Opera PMS and Micros POS.
• Identify and follow up on discrepancies between systems and cash received.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations for credit‑card remittances, including AMEX, Visa, MasterCard and local cards.
• Match received payments against bank statements and record the corresponding accounting entries.
• Reconcile bridge accounts linked to financial transactions.
• Act as witness during the opening of daily sales envelopes.
• Support internal controls, financial procedures and substitute administrative duties when needed.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Controller or Sub‑Controller.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a finance environment.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliations and accounting entries.
• Proficiency with Excel formulas and strong analytical ability.
• Commitment, initiative and adaptability to a dynamic hospitality setting.
