About the role
As a Universal Advisor you will be the front‑line representative of FNB, delivering a seamless and positive experience to walk‑in customers in a high‑volume branch environment. You will combine service excellence with compliant sales, guiding customers toward the right banking solutions and digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Engage customers professionally, understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Promote and educate customers on e‑Channels, self‑service platforms and digital banking tools.
- Process transactions efficiently while meeting performance benchmarks.
- Manage leads, referrals and follow‑ups within agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, TCF and internal governance.
- Uphold ethical standards and contribute to team success.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12/NQF Level 4; preferably NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or related field.
- 1–3 years experience in a customer‑facing role within financial services.
- Strong understanding of FAIS, TCF principles and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to meet sales, service and customer experience targets.
- Must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
