Community Advisor

About the role

The Community Advisor is the frontline representative of FNB’s Points of Presence (POP) network, delivering prompt, professional service to customers. You will ensure client needs are understood, requests are processed accurately, and digital self‑service adoption is encouraged.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers promptly, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Drive exceptional customer experiences in line with Balanced Scorecard service standards.
• Support net profit growth through effective sales and service activities.
• Guide customers toward self‑service and digital channels.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and contribute to portfolio expansion.
• Track and report sales and service metrics for management decision‑making.
• Ensure daily transaction verification and compliance with governance, legislative and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12/NQF Level 4; preferably NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer‑facing, service delivery or client support within financial services.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Confidence in promoting digital and self‑service solutions.
• Strong accuracy, discipline and adherence to processes.
• Effective organising, planning and time‑management skills.
