Communications Associate

About the role

APM Terminals is seeking a Communications Associate to support its operations in Panama. You will work in a dynamic, international environment, helping to manage internal communications, corporate events, and documentation while contributing to the company’s continuous‑improvement culture.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and route phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Draft, review, manage, and file the department’s physical and digital documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date files, records, and databases for the communications department.
• Submit purchase requests and follow up on related administrative processes.
• Support management with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
• Operate a camera, learn composition techniques, and capture corporate events.
• Collaborate on the organization and logistics of corporate events, institutional activities, and internal campaigns.

Required profile

• Technical degree, advanced student, or bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing, or a related area.
