Category Sales Development Analyst (Junior)

About the role

Join Nestlé Purina Pet Care as a Junior Category Sales Development Analyst. You will be responsible for gathering and applying buyer insights to drive long‑term growth of the pet care category across multiple channels in Panama.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, share and apply category, brand and client buyer insights to support profitable growth.
• Visit clients to present category performance, growth opportunities and business‑driven recommendations.
• Execute category plans to improve shelf space and visibility versus competitors.
• Maintain and update databases with price indices, execution guidelines, SKUs per channel, reporting routines and business impact.
• Support the annual category overview, identifying channel and client opportunities aligned with business unit strategies.
• Analyze competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Educate internal and external stakeholders on trends, opportunities and segment dynamics.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience in category management or SKU handling.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; PowerBI experience is a plus.
