About the role
As a Banking Advisor for Private Clients, you will work within FNB’s Private Banking & Advisory team to manage and grow a portfolio of affluent customers. You will provide analysis, research, sales and service support, identifying new opportunities while delivering high‑quality, proactive service.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing a portfolio of affluent clients alongside Private Bankers.
- Conduct financial analysis and research to identify cross‑selling opportunities.
- Maintain and grow the client base through effective lead pipeline management.
- Develop and nurture collaborative relationships across the organization.
- Provide timely administration, reporting and updates of client information.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative and governance requirements.
- Deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Contribute to cost containment and operational efficiency.
Required profile
- RE5 Certificate with a NQF7 level degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2–3 years of experience in a sales or service role within a financial environment.
- Ability to build positive relationships and provide exceptional service.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to seek feedback, pursue training and continuously improve performance.
