Banking Advisor – Private Client

About the role

As a Banking Advisor – Private Client you will work within FNB’s Private Banking & Advisory team to proactively manage a portfolio of affluent clients. You will support Private Bankers by providing analysis, research and service delivery, identifying new banking opportunities and growing existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients, delivering tailored financial solutions.
• Conduct financial analysis and research to uncover cross‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain and grow the leads pipeline, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Develop and nurture collaborative relationships across the Financial Services Group.
• Provide accurate administration, reporting and documentation of client information.
• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds client expectations through proactive and innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements.
• Contribute to cost‑containment and operational efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• RE5 Certificate with a Degree (NQF 7) in Finance or Accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in a sales or service role within a financial environment.
• Must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
